Final fights in epic 1.5 quests

So if you wipe and can't kill the final mob, do you need to do the whole quest again ?

Say I go to Runied city with 4 groups and try to kill Krekk, but fail in X attempts.. I guess he despawn after a while. When that occure, do I need to redo everything ? (Even the pre-quest if I haven't got 1.0 epic)

We did 1.5 for a warrior in my guild 2 days ago. We wiped on first attempt and Krekk reset completely, non-aggro back at his spawn point, noone, not even the warrior who made the hand-in, could pull him. However, the warrior doing the epic could walk up to Krekk and simply hail him, and he'd be aggro again and could be pulled. This leads me to believe that you achieve a flag upon handing Krekk the items and that this flag will let you trigger him again in case of a wipe, thus eliminating the risk of having to start over. But this is just the way it looked to me, I could be wrong

Edit: In addition to the proc listed on Allakhazam's and most of the walkthroughs I've seen on Warrior 1.5, Krekk now also does an AE FD thingy, which seems to be tied in with certain hit point percentages. He used it twice the last time we fought him and it has a pretty long range, so unless you're prepared for it, aggro will skip and jump and healers might not be able to cast because they don't realize that they are in fact lying down. I'm not sure if the FD AE has a stun component as well, or I just got unlucky and got hit by his regular AE right as the FD thingy fired, but I noticed I wasn't able to get up and start to reacquire aggro right away.

Yes you can just Hail Krekk Brimblade if you failed, friend who is not in a guild tryed him many times and failed and in the end he could hail, glad to say he finaly got his epic. glad i had my guild's help to help me get mine.. i failed the first try but I was able to hail and try again.

My guild did Krekk and failed the first time. Got him to 2% and wiped. We ran back, rezzed, cleared any possible adds and killed him with I think only 3 deaths the 2nd time around. (deaths were from enrage iirc :P) Our warrior just ran up and hailed him to trigger the 2nd fight.
