So what do we have ?

- A shitty ratio
- Stats that are barely better than the Fleshbiter
- A completely useless Clicky (750hp rune every 10 mins with 1 sec casting)
- A faster reuse Timer on incite.

Anyone care to tell me why we should bother with this piece of shit exept for the AC/HP/Shielding ?

the clicky is not so shitty : 750HP/10% group-Vie that stack !! plus 15% spell-resist self.
but what is uberdumb is that all epic 1.5 clickies are 0.8s cast
so when we compare them we have to weight them by the chanel skill (0 on all pure meleer!! thanks SoE) Moreover we are the more likely to use it while fighting making it even harder to be effectively casted.

And this IS NOT THE FINAL RESULT OF THE EPIC QUEST.

I am sorry but to me this is a Darkblade/Fleshbiter with 3% Shielding.
Ignore the 3% shielding, and even the Chaotic Black Scimitar from the Zoo is better.

I do agree its a hella of a weapon but guess what ?
You could remove both the effects and no one would notice a thing.

If you're having agro problems, you may have bigger issues than questing. Besides, It's got 2 augment slots, and is offhand useable.

Effects on Epic weapons from versions 1.5 (probably) 2.0

Disappointing... Instead of absorbing 10% dmg for a total of 750, you now can absorb 10% for a total of 1000 dmg ))

You miss the 2 augment slots that allow you to make it do whatever you want, including match every aggro weapon out there, or allow you to use it for DPS?

Nope, didnt miss it; but having to add 2 anger augs to give the weapon what it should have on its own is pretty lame.

personnally I would be very pleased with very little modif : change the clicky to (Any slot / can Equip. ; 0s cast time)
the item would stay a long long long time in bag just for the clicky. but in its current form (and its next : epic 2.0 's clicky) it will be thrown away like the epic 1.0

Consider the fights required to obtain it.
Consider the fact that it is a halfway point reward.


What bothers me is that it sounds like sword is dropped as loot in the final encounter? wth??

That opens up possible griefing, ks'ing, hell even twinking.

offtand useble .. its a very nice blade u can aug it and get great aggro .. stop bitching .. what ever u say its sure rock the shit outa epic 1.0 so shut .. i agree the re uce fo incite focii is lame but 10% of ny amount of dmg is better then takeing thos 10% ee tho ok its not great either but its a group buff thats kinda nice or everone but u

can make it in to a dps wep for offhand useage and u can slap anger on it for nice ggro its nice wep dont mok it

Ah, then you just missed all the people that hoped they could use their epic for DPS. Best of both worlds...make the weapon how you want.
