Will my system handle EQ

Hi, well, Im in Okinawa and my Desk top is back in the states, however I do have a compaq presario 3000, it has a p4 2.0 half a gig of ram, and an SiS 4x agp video card. Do you think It will be able to handle EQ? We just got cable internet in the barracks..This is a website that shows the system that I do have..

Thanks for the quick reply, I wasnt sure..Its not exactly a state of the art lap top, but I can only hope its does fair to middle as far as performance..

damn, thats a laptop. thats about as good as my desktop. though dont know what the SiS 4x agp vid card is though. from everything else its prob a fucking monster.

Uh, thanks..lol..I am borrowing it from a buddy who has a sager laptop with like a gig of ram and a radeon 9700 video card in his..he he..soundsl like fun huh..well, He claims he used it in Greece and played eq on it..I can only hope..that damn p4 2.0 proccessor is kind of slow and it only has a half a gig of ram..so..im crossing my fingers.

My bot machine is a Dell P4 1.8 Ghz, 256 mb of ram, and a GForce MXsomething card, not real sure on the card. But it runs EQ fine... takes forever and a day to zone into Natimbi sometimes but other then that it runs EQ fine.

Sheesh, your laptop is better than the desktop I normally play EQ on.

Sis chipsets are generally not very good, and have many issues with EQ especially after the directx9 engine was put in. Mostly because of the way SiS chipsets handle transparencies and zbuffering. For everyone out there avoid SiS video chipsets at all costs.
