Heroic stats softcap?

One of the warriors in my guild is telling us that he read a post somewhere stating there is a heroic stats softcap at 200. And that heroics effect after that drop bye around 30%? And then gradually go down after that? Can anyone confirm if this is true or not true? I have looked and ive seen nothing that states this.

I've never heard of it. but what I have heard is that there is hard cap on heroic effect or heroic differnece themselves...

I would recall you that mobs have heroic too (the current one at least, in SoF none had them except the top end raid) and that the effect of the heroics is calculated based on the difference of heroic between the two. for example, if you have 200 heroic, and the mob has 100 heroic, you would have the same effect has if you had 100 heroics and the mob none.

now, if the effects are capped, for example you can't gain more than 10% dodge/riposte/parry/whatever. then against a mob with lots of heroic, you may not see the cap coming, but against a mob with no heroics (like test dummy in the arena) you can parse a diminishing effect of adding heroics.

There have been multiple parses of offensive heroics that show this not to be true, at least for them.

It would be extremely time consuming to test the defensive one versus current content mobs. What is the source of his data?

Does it really matter? You are still gaining benefit, even after hitting any softcap, if one does exist.
You just run into a diminishing returns issue.

AC softcap was surpassed long ago, but we are all running around with 9k+ buffed AC.

There is no crazy voodoo here. Upgrade as you can into whatever tier armor you can get. Try to get the latest set of augs. It's not rocket science, really.
