Aggro pots bugged?
I've been meaning to ask for a couple days; I use Scorpion's Agony for every raid. Lately have been type XVI or XVII. Well when I hover the buff (or any warrior in my guild for that matter) it only shows type VIII. Bugged, Nerfed, or both or neither?
Also as a side note, Bazu overrites Blast of Anger since VOA or a patch shortly after. This used to not be the case iirc, or it could have been, not really sure at this point. |

I'm sorry Gendalen Roar (Bazu replacement) is what I meant. So use my old RK3 Bazu from HoT then to not have this overwrite issue? Is the newer significantly better? BTW BOA is like 30k hate I think I read somewhere-is that true?

If BoA is up it's better so the overwriting isnt' a big deal. The only time you potentially lose anything is the waste of a button mash when BoA is still on the target and you hit the bazu line. (and even then the initial hate from bazu may still stick, not sure) |

BoA goes up like a dot ticing for 30 sec and roar goes on mobs list too since BoA does more agro it overwrites all the roar line but only till the 30 sec up then can click roar so it not to bad its like roar non hastened just more agro just takes some tweeking to get use to it is all

All of my Scorp Agony are showing up as VIII on the buff bar. Doesn't matter if I drink XV, XVI, or XVIII. I am certain this was not the case the last time I paid attention to this.

BTW can you test buff/debuff/effect spells on GH dummies? That would be better for me than mid raid imo. |

OK My bad Yoda I had it backwards (BOA overwrites bazu) so I suppose it does not matter. Also, even though the pot is saying type VIII in the buff box, I am being told it's full strength. A wizard buddy of mine uses the extra dmg to fire pots at the highest level you can get and his reports a low type in buff box but adds the correct amt. of damage for what he is using. It's so odd I never noticed this before.

Based on that I'm going with the aggro pots are probably really correctly as well. |

Ya, that's how the pots work. There's some special coding that makes them cast like the caster is a specific level. Ie Scorpion's Agony X potion, when proc'd, acts as if you are only level 60 casting the spell. Which would always be resisted in current content. Not a huge deal for us since resists still generate aggro.

Just FYI, if you cast Bazu (Gren new version) after you hit BoA you will get the message disc did not hold and grey out your Bazu. Not a big deal you just have to get used to hitting bazu after 30 seconds is all.
