Best charm for warrior in HoT

So, I can't decide which charm would best from T4. I'm thinking the Dense Gem of Collapsed Dreams from T3 might be better, since its stats won't be gimped. I don't use dmg augs if tanking, only aggro augs.

Any input?

Like you said Huggly, maybe some of the T3 ones are better.

I need a charm upgrade too. These are the 4 that are available from SS:

Gazing Gouzah Eye <-- No info given for what effects its power

Charm is a hard slot to fill. I'd be happy if I could snag Katyas Signet even though that is T2 iirc. I wish charms were not all/all so it would cut down on some of the bidders

Looking at the raw item data.

Gazing Gouzah Eye = CHRMClassArmor. So you need 10 class specific worn items to max it. There is a post here, that using type 3 class augs to make gear class specific, doesn't cut it, for charms with this flag. Can anyone else confirm?

The Executioner's Crimson Trophy = need to be close to healer classes. No info on how close, or how many. Guildmate got this last night, because I couldn't make up my mind. He says with just merc healer, it was 78 AC.

Lucky Gouzah Foot = I don't understand the point of having a charm that cycles from gimp to good every 12 minutes, as it gets closer and farther from midnight

Ribbon of Bleached Shark Teeth = endurance needs to be under 50 percent, for max stats. This would be great as a group tank, chain pulling. Otherwise Bleh.

If anyone has any info on the Executioner's Crimson Trophy, such as how many healers, and what range is allowed. I might look at that. Otherwise, Its probably going to be the Dense Gem.

Yes the class specific armor thing sux if you wear cultural.

I don't think I am going to stop using cultural at this point, so yeah, that cancels that charm out.

FWIW, Barbarian cultural for warriors is class-specific warrior only, because warriors are the only barbarian plate class. Thus, Barbarians can use the class specific charm and use cultural armor with impunity.

Certainly not the best but it's rules:
"Increases in power if your primary or secondary weapons do not have augments that increase their raw damage."
work for me. When I care about it's max specs, I'm S&B tanking and not about to use a DMG aug in my mainhander. When I am using DMG augs I don't care much about my survivability and a dropoff is fine by me.

Probably the best static charm is Lilth's Ethereal Pendant.

IIRC, it was mentioned that it gets max stats at like 200 research... which is just a matter of flushing some cash using the research thread in Arena or the EQ traders best way to skill tradeskills thread as a reference. That said, man that thing is rare. I've seen it exactly once in all the time we've done Upper.

Atm i use Haelgord's Talisman from the Grounds, which only requires 20 unspent AA to max.

I will never loot a non-static charm, hate that stuff.

You suggest part of the answer. Unlike some items a lot of charms come with rules that seriously impact their usability. If you get a chance to loot one that you can live with, I'd grab it. Reasonable charms are kinda rare in my experience.
