Spell interruption message

Im seeing some spell intrruption message spam when Im in combat, not quite figured out what it is but it came after last patch. Im thinking it might be infusion of rage proc.

Anyone else seen this?

Have you seen this on different types of mobs or does it seem to be NPC specific? I went through my logs since April and I did notice it on the Synarcana in Miragul's but that was the only time. Any other interrupts were from something I was trying to cast, mainly Howl.

The Synarcana would probably make sense in a way to get an interrupt.

Yes I noticed it last night quite a bit while runinning some peeps through "Hippity Hoppity Kill" for flagging.

I've noticed the spell interrupts as well for a little over a week now. I was also trying to figure out what was suddenly getting interrupted. I was thinking it was weapon procs. maybe but I never studied my logs to see if they are firing normally.

Aye they probably been there but last night was the first time I've grouped in a couple weeks. Normally raiding and not worrying about that window :P Just my health and hott box most of the time

As near as I can tell is proc (but you've ruled that out) or an auto-ability. I've noticed it at the start of fights mostly when I'm uncharacteristically bobbing and weaving although I'm standing still.

For some reason, I don't start getting the interruptions until I start using a Rune proc aug (JOE in this case). Then, even after I switch to another weapon, the interruptions continue for a short period of time, then they seem to stop. Then if I go back to the Rune weapon, they start up again.

Sounds like you're running into the rune detecting you already have the rune effect on and not stacking the rune up multiple times.

I might sound like that, but I've been getting the same messages and I'm not running a rune.

Could that rune not be working because it's missing a spell component? Like a jade or something? (I forget what stone you need for rune proc but I keep one on me).

You do not need components for weapon procs, they are not the same as spells.

Any chance the spell data for the proc got switched around with the normal spell which then makes it need to use a component, by accident?

With some mobs appearing as Dougs instead of the right image on occasion, I'd think such a thing was in principle possible. Perhaps not a component (I think there's a You don't have the X needed to cast that spell message) but something else that does produce the requisite message.

More likely extra data or messing data that produces an off by one error in a table than a switch.

Find what can produce that message and it should lead to how it's getting produced.

went looking today, only interruption messages i get, is when i fail on a clickie, even trying out my rune weapon, so I would find it interesting to know what could be causing this.

My testing seems to point at Strike of Ire as the source of the interrupt message. If you dont have 1h + shield, you still try to proc this - but it gets interrupted due to not meeting requirements. This is the only time I get the interrupts, and it happens at the procrate of strike of ire; never has happened yet when testing with 1h + shield.
