Strictly bazaar geared warrior

So, coming back from about a 3 year break with my 70 Warrior. I noticed a lot of new gear posted on TSW, stuff that makes my gear (which was good at the time) pretty antiquated (out-of-date). Can someone take the time to put a magelo together, depicting the top-of-the-line bazaar geared warrior... one catch though... no gear higher than level 72 or so? That would be great, and very helpful to me in my quest to get back up to par. Thx guys! Raz

I should probably add I plan on trying to explore first when I get back, so maybe a good dps setup as opposed to tanking gear/weapons, thx. Raz

Go to Allakhazam and look up "warped steel" and "steam core".

That should get ya going on armor at your level.

It's not bazaar, but it's good xp and training. Will require grouping which will work on those social skills too.

I think returning players who have been gone as long as you may qualify for a gear kit of elegant defiant armor, tho I cant be positive. One of my friends in a similar position was given a returning player starter kit.

Based on your magelo just about everything in the baz will be a big upgrade. Alot of stuff in the elaborate defiant class of armor goes for under 1kpp. Elegant defiant will be slightly more expensive (assuming you dont get a full set upon renewing) but its hard to say as it depends on how much PP you have and the server you are on.

yeah, steam cores, i read about those. i probably wouldn't last 2 secs against the mobs that drop those though brother... but thx for the reply anywho!

Now, about your question:

Weapons - that 2.0 is the only hatemod you can use at level 70, put it on the offhand. Arc of Pain on primary until you get more levels i.e. level 80 to use the better stuff.

Visible armor - Elegant Defiant Plate. If you prefer cultural armor, replace Eminent Symbols with Exalted ones now, or wait until level 75 and replace with Sublime ones directly.

The hatemod you want is 22% on the T5 group SoD BP, OR - if you like working with Crystallos instead - T4 group SoF BP (Martial Chromasteel Breastplate).

Non-visible armor - look here for the stuff you want. Basically, in SoD there are two tiers of dropable gear: Oceangreen/Blackburrow/Temple drops lvl 70 req. gear. Kithicor/Commonlands drop lvl 75 req. gear.

Augmentation - Everything above, minus your agro augs, will need to be replaced. Look at the stickied threads elsewhere in TSW.

Just my personal opinion but I think it's faster to grind to 85 and get a set of sod T5 gear then it is to get chromasteel out of SoF. Unless you have someone willing to spend the time getting you the SoF gear that is.

From what I've heard, be hard to grind to anything in lfg all day with gear from 3 expansions ago, back when 10k/2k was acceptable.

the only raison to invest time into crystallos is for the augs... if yours suck and that the next expension don't replace the crystallos ones (which seams not to be the case... so the oculus aug may be the only one worthwhile out of SoF in a near futur).

Just look for defiant gear, Elaborate of for higher levels Elegant. That should be enough to get you started.

I have a feeling there isn't a lot of warped stuff for sale since it's not current contant but you might find something.

You might also be able to find some 'blackened' or 'darkened' or whatever from the recent Guk and Blackburrow revamps. That stuff doesn't drop so it may not be worthwhile to buy, but it's another thought.

Crystallos still has a lot of great non-visible slot loot, no?

If you happen to know tradeskill peeps, Cultural with sublimes would be better then defiant.
More AC/HP then defiant (even without the LB augs) and with the surplus of porous loams in the game, sould be able to score a set somewhat inexpensively.
