eoe vs bote

seems i have been asking a lot of questions lately . i would like a compareson of the time blade edge of eternity vs the blade of the eclipse as leadhand agro weps.i have the eoe with an eb augmain hand an a1.5 with eb an anger 3 lodon off hand .i was hopeing for a fleshbiter drop but that with summer comeing on looks like it is set back so i now need a better upgrade for eoe before then// thank googah the barb

I would imagine EoE is a bit better than BotE, but even if not, the stats are better and it's free (you aleady have it etc).

They're going to be really close, frankly. Not worth trying to upgrade, probably.

Castrum Dark Cutlass is a reasonable upgrade, and single groupable.

Bone Rending Battle Sword off of BMR in RCoD might be a bit more of an upgrade to look at.

And don't forget Bloodfrenzy.

The OP didn't mention it. His question was between the EoE vs BotE. Yes BF would own both but thats not the question. I'm pissy today! Gez I guess I need to take out some frustration on old content named now.

BotE sells for a lot on my server, anywhere between 250K and 350K. It's great for having a high-priced item for resale later.

Between that and EoE, though, I'd take EoE - not a lot of difference between the two imo. There is no comparison if you try to put it besides Bloodfrenzy, ever.

Kinda late reply, but seems that noone mentioned it. I would stick two eb augs in the 1.5 and use that for mainhand.

I was in a similar position some time ago, well about a year ago anyway. At the time, I didn't have my 1.5 and I don't even remember what my other weapon option was for agro. What I found was that the Edge of Eternity was superior in main hand over the BoTE because of the speed. It lost a great deal of utility swapping positions to offhand.

I upgraded from the Edge of Eternity to a Haru sword, which i still use in main hand. This is from a raid instanced event off of Corathus Creep, involving a fight with a big ugly slug and a couple series of adds. The Haru sword is an often overlooked piece of gear and is surprisingly good agro / dps combination for the content and relative ease of acquisition. I haven't been lucky enough to win a Darkblade, Fleshiter, or similar weapon yet.

When I got my 1.5, I gave the BoTE to my friend who camped it with me in the first place. He was going to sell it off when he upgraded and split the proceeds with me, but instead he helped fund the AAAA needed for my bazu augment. I preferred having a faster weapon, particularly if a 1:1 or better ratio, in main hand over the higher damage potential of the slower weapon.
