Few gear questions for a low 50s warrior

Hello,
My warrior is 55 right now, working on AAs.
He's wearing mainly fully magnetic, on the visible slots.

I found some TSS quested gear at level 45, that seem to be an upgrade.
As far as tanking goes, which is better.

Iron Forged Plate Vambraces

I'm also trying to find what the PoP Ornate gear looks like, to see if it would be better than Magnetic.

I found the ornate stuff.

Looks like the BP is an upgrade and I'm probably going to get the gloves, for the haste buff.

If you have magnetic, I wouldn't spend my time with the other items you linked. As I recall, the old blue diamond cultural armor in many slots is at least as good as magnetic until you get to around level 60 because of the level restrictions on magnetic.
however, obviously the way for you to improve your armor is to level. If you want to quest stuff, I'd look at the charm of lore and the crystalwing Gor'kar aug. You might need a small amount of help for the last bit of the crystalwing, as you have to kill a (55?) giant.
If you're running the BoC in your offhand you might want to switch it to your mainhand.

I just threw my BoC in offhand because I was helping someone with lowbie mobs last night and wanted my mace to proc more.

Normally when tanking I keep my BoC in MH with the one of my other 1handers offhanded.

You don't think the ornate is worth it either?
My plan isn't to level, that's why I'm looking at other alternatives.
Once I get my AAs at level 55, I'm going to sac to 52 and kill some dragons with a friend.
So at 55 and 52, the Ornate BP does look better than Magnetic, just because of the lack of a reccomended level.

That striket aug does look nice, thanks for the mention.

I believe any AA's you get at 55 will not be usable after you sac back down.

Really?
I was curious about that, but I had read that passive benefits stick, when I sac down.

It's only the triggered AAs that won't trigger, if I've sacced.

I'm not positive, and it was an unrelated issue on the soe forums that brought it up, but you may want to confirm before leveling up and getting aa's just to turn it to wasted time if you sac them away.

I just looked into it and you can use any passive AAs within 3 levels.
So I can get my 51 and 55 AAs, then de-level to 52 and get all the bonus.

Wouldn't be a waste really, cause eventually I will level up.
I already have some level 55 AAs, just gonna finish the rest.

Rather than sac just get killed several times then rez yourself before the bodies expire.
The ornate bp and gloves are still in my inventory at lvl 75. Get them for the buffs only if they don't beat out the others you listed with the stats hp/ac.

Let us know what you find out about the 55 aa's if you delevel.

I don't understand why I should die and rez, vs saccing.

If I want to go from 55 to 52, might as well make money off of it.

I'll probably use the BP for the stats, not the clicky, since I'm boxing a shaman.

Just a thought for non visible slots, the new TSS jewelry is really good. Might check out the Prestidigidigidigdigiditase Palladium rings and earrings, they are 10ac 75hp/end with a single +9stat based on the "cut" of the stone.

Also that mantle is pretty weak, you could upgrade with even a tattered mantle or dragonwing mantle, for a cheap few hp and AC boost.

Also a Helmet of Rallos Zek is always a good choice, 55ac/100hp is hard to beat plus has truesight.

Thanks for the info.
I did get some Pear Cut Prestidigitase Palladium Rings (wow mouthful) for my shammy.
I kinda wanted to get jewelry for my war that had other than just stam/hp.

I will look for better shoulder options too, none jumped out though.

I'd make friends with an Iksar GM smith stat!
