i am looking for infos on that raid (it drops the 35AC type 8 aug)

i have found that on an old post:

The object of the adventure was to stop this frog fella from becoming a god more or less. There were 2 Froggy Scouts at the zone in. You divide the raid into 2 parts, 3 groups in each. When you start the event, one Scout asks for you to follow him to the execution chamber and starts walking. Three groups follow and protect him from the mobs in the way

Eventually the first frog reaches the exeuction chamber. Once the first scout makes it to this point the Scout at the zone starts walking. The 3 remaining groups follow him to a chamber with a Cauldron in it. The same deal applies, kill adds, protect frog.

The object is to get both groups of raiders to their respective rooms, in which they have to do things within a certain amount of time to get the easy version of the boss.

do you know if that raid can be done with 1 grp? Can the scout be rooted to avoid his death with mobs? How hard is the boss? Can we just let the 2 scouts die and try the hard version of the boss or does it means a failure?

ok i tried it, 2 war, 1 druid and 1 shamy bot

we followed the first scout till we reached the executioner gimdk (he was killing frogs to create wisps)
but the second scout was dead as we did not have enough raiders to split in 2 raids and it failed, we tried to reach the NE big room but there was nothing inside, only a cauldron and the wisps that feeded it but no named
we suppose the name pop only if you reach the room with the scout?

and then in that room, the executioner summon frog risen and say:
[Fri Mar 16 17:52:50 2007] Executioner Gimdk focuses his attention on a new Risen, 'The Cauldron shall feast on your essence!'

if you manage to kill the frog risen before he absorb it it's ok and the event continue
if you fail :
[Fri Mar 16 17:53:30 2007] The Risen before the Executioner explodes, leaving a small bit of dancing energy where it once stood.

and a wisp (not targetable) is summoned and is going to the NE room

Has anyone seen the bard bracer drop in LDoN raids?

Talking a friend into doing them and he has an interest in doing them for the bracer and agreed to help each other farm them.

Any info would be great so i know where to farm.

Ok i tried it another time and this time i split the raid in 2 groups, one at zi to protect the frog in case of pops and one to clear the way with the second frog
but we failed, the group at entrance wiped because of multiple pops and they where too few to handle them (bst 75 + shm 67 and mag 75)

i plan on trying that raid another time but with 2 balanced group of tank/heal/dps (and eventualy CC/mez if i can bring them in)

i think it can be done with 6-8 anguish geared peeps
mobs hit for 1k max, highly magic resistant, some are immune magic (the eyes), all undeads(good point is they don't run low life) and they come by 3 or 4 at a time

the frogs are grey (to 75) and can be killed in 5-10 secs by any mob in zone so you have to be careful with pulls or adds

we tried again yesterday with 11 (3 wars, 2 boxed shm, 1 clr and some dps), split in 2 group and went to the named, the fight is like this:
- each minute or like a trash mob spawn inside the cauldron, so you have to put a tank + dps and healer on that. They pop till the end of the fight
- the named (first witness) is untargetable at the begining
- there is 3 perma rooted Eyes (immune magic) to kill in the room, they hit hard even on a 4k+ AC tank, so a cleric CHing is helpfull
- once the 3 eyes are dead the first witness attack the raid, it's a easy named (immune magic)

once dead, 2 chest spawned, dunno why the third did not poped, we got a plate BP (ac85), a 20ac aug chain class, a 40% poison damage focus and monk gloves

some of those drops are listed on alla on other ldon raids and we know for sure the 35AC all slot aug does not drop on the raid alla say it drops from
that's why i think the info on drops from ldon raids on allak isn't reliable

i am not even sure the Focus Shard of Enhanced Protection drops on that ldon raid!!!

any info would be welcome as where that aug drops from! thanks

I've done this with 7 people, 3 times now. I'm trying new things seeing if we can get the 3rd chest to spawn but so far no luck. Seen lots of 70hp augs, 70mana augs, +10 bash damage aug, accuracy aug, 4 plate BP's and definitly no AC aug. In the EF LDON, the 35ac aug only drops from the frost covered chest or w/e, So my money is on this aug only dropping from the 3rd chest (the one we're having trouble spawning).

Something that might factor in this, is maybe killing executioner before first witness, (he becomes targetable / killable when first witness is engaged, after killing the 3 evil eye guards). A monk in anguish gear solo'd the executioner easily, but didnt kill it before we killed First Witness. The monk offtanked a weak add in the EXE room with the scout beating on it, out of the way of where adds spawn (to prevent having to fd). This kept the scout busy and not dying.

Another possibility is maybe you have to limit the amount of wisp/essences the executioner spawns, we've not killed any of them and usually clear to exe room, then straight to first witness and burn them down. All in all it takes about 40 minutes with 7 people (Cleric SK War Monk Rog Rog Shm).

If anyone has any questions about this raid I should be able to answer them, at least for getting the first 2 chests to spawn.
