Tradeskill Cap question
I can't remember, but I seem to recall that the max tradeskill cap was 300 irregardless of a skill mod or not. It displays over 300 with a tradeskill mod, but I can't remember if there is any actual benefit to it?
Can anyone help me confirm or deny? |

Irregardless, I'll continue to use it. As long as folks still understand what I'm saying, I -ain't- gonna stop =)
Thanks for the info though. I was all over eqtraders for recipes today. Never thought to check the FAQ. Sometimes the easy stuff escapes me... |

It's worth mentioning that even though a tradeskill trophy will take you over the cap, many tradeskill items, notably GM armor, have a hard cap on them so you cannot always benefit from the mod, irregardless of how high your skill is with it equipped.

Ya, its the 95% success rate is all you really need to get to for high trival combines. Anything over a 300 trivial the best you can get to is a 95% success rate. So accually for most 335 combines you can get to the max success rate around 285 with a 8% mod, anything higher is just wasted points/mod.
