Obviously the axe has a slight edge on the raw hp/ac, ratio, and proc of the mace. I already own the mace, so is it worth the crystals to bag the mace for DPS offhand? Should i buy the axe and offhand the BoC? I was going to keep the BoC mainhand for the slightly stronger proc agro but i'm hearing mixed opinions from the warriors on my server. Personally i dont think a tenth of a second difference will produce that much more swing agro heh.

IMO BoC stays mainhand over either the DoN Axe or the MoM.

The answer to the other question is a little tougher. Personally, Id take the DoN points you would spend on the Axe, and instead put EB on your BoC mainhand. I'd then sell an A2 aug back to LDoN vendor and get a 10ac aug for your neck. If that doesn't float your boat, sell both A2's back and get an A3 for offhand.

Lots of choices, but thats what id do.

How many DoN crystals you have, and how fast you earn em might influence that decision. Other factors that might influence you are how soon you think you can get your 1.5 done. I saw in another post that you were getting close.

The idea i had was perhaps 2xEB 1.5, offhand DoN axe with CS4, and sell teh BoC for some much needed plats. I have the LDoN points for the AC aug, which is why my neck is still not aug'd, but i dont have the fucking thing unlocked, im one dungeon shy.

I kinda doubt I'll bother with anger3 but idunno. I can get DoN crystals pretty fast but it can be a little inconsistant at times (read: idiots and pickup groups that cant follow simple instructions or dont want to).

In my opinion why drop 300 whatever crystals on an axe you freely admit to being your second to your BoC. Soon as you get something better like the epic youll just jettison it. A CS4 or EB proc is something you can buy for less and itll have have a very long, useful life for you most likely. The axe is really nice, and itll last somone a good while perhaps, but I cant see it outliving the usefulness of a proc. If you bought EB thats another 600 hate a minute without wa over your A2 aug. I sincerely doubt upgrading to the axe in the offhand over the mace of memories will come anywhere near this figure.

Not that this applies to you, but I see all these poorly equipped warriors(like myself) dinging 70 and buying those axes to replace their chos or cordhilted spikedriver and shake my head in wonder that theyd drop the crystals on that rather than an aggro proc aug (since they have something horrible like "heated blade" for now). Then they essentially run around swinging a velium gemmed sword with A3 for a month until they get more points for the aug when they could have made a much more godly weapon throwing an eb/cs4 on the aggro weapon they had.

Although there are some, I just cannot think of many circumstances where the EB proc isnt more important than the A3 weapon itself....especially if its cheaper. I think frostpaw gave some good advice about selling back the A2.

i think Shmashed has a good point with the aug being cheaper, Anger2 augs arent as much agro as EB/Anger3. sell the 2 - Anger2 back do a couple LDoNs for Anger3 unlock and then get Anger3 and EB(or CS4) in the weps ya have now.

BoC with Anger3 (which ya would have already from selling Anger2)
keep MoM offhanded til 1.5 and aug with EB (or CS4)

after Epic 1.5
1.5 with EB and CS4
BoC/Axe with anger3 or EB from other camp

over all if you are serrious about finishing 1.5 dont spend the money/time for the Axe being the BoC is better agro. when it comes time to deaug/reaug just pull the aug from MoM put it into 1.5 and then add the one that you didnt have in it also.

BoC/CHoS(aug: Warm Emerald Shard, it was cheap since I did couple Tak LDoNs for Virtue for a cleric friend) is my combo that I am taking to level 70, 65 and counting) I havent done the LDoNs I need for Anger3, I have Axe of Barbarian Kings and EB aug in bank waiting on me to level, but my finishing Combo will be...

BoC(EB) + EB
Axe(Anger3) + CS4

I do not have plans to do my 1.5 though.

Just as an FYI: I understand that in the upcoming patch, the DoN merchant gear is going to have "type 9" augment slots put in and there will be some type 9 augments available for such gear, which is supposed to improve them over their current specifications, so keep an eye out.

No clue really, they're supposed to give an upgrade path to DoN merchant gear from the looks of it, the augs are supposed to be fairly costly, but will probably end up being cool

thanks for that little bit of info, maybe the DoN axe will be a more viable upgrade in teh future but i suppose your right, it would be best to buy the proc because i'll be using it forever and the axe will probably not be as useful in the long run. im just a little tired of the mace offhand to be honest

Deep Crust Fire Geode (Evil Camp) and
Deep Crust Fire Geode (Good Camp) are not lore. Or that they are and can both can be bought/equiped at the same time. Can someone confirm that they both can be used before I waste time to find out they take my crystals but wont let me get the item, then find out after petitioning I can't get it back cause the GM's are too lazy and will pass the buck (screw me)..

They both have a different game ID, but the same name. Therefore, they are not loore to each other's name, just lore to the individual camp.
