I'm thinking of buying these for soloing. can anyone describe the AA to me in detail?

also, if i have to use it at the end of a fight, will the dot effect "damage" me and cause healing will to drop?

It drains more HP, then u get healed for... its not good for solo'ing at all... Its one of those AA you use in a group with a healer, for like a ooh sheet... to save your arse....

That wouldn't help at all. DoT will eventually kill you.

I think the dot effect breaks healing will, but anyway you lose quite a bit more HP than you gain. I think the highest version 5K you come out more than 1K behind at least. Like many said it's pretty much useless for soloing, but is a valuable skill in a group sitting as an alternative to furious/fortitude. Of course unlike those two it can fail to save you but you're certainly not any worse off than before (you'd definitely have died without WT).

thanks for the info guys, this was exactly what i needed to know. i guess its still a good AA after my defensive/hp aa's are done, but i wont be getting it for a while.

Nah it doesn't break healing will, it just completely overpowers it.

Won't break healing will at all, but... at Resolute Defiance lvl 3 the dot comes out something like 600+ per tick. Only gonna help you soloing if you dont mind dying at the end Oh and the reuse time sucks

this AA is very low on my list ..

at 850 AAs, still haven't gotten.

It should be high on your list... a 6k Instant heal.. it saves my ass alot on raids.... Tank switches come easy when u can do your own first CH~

i use it a lot. Im at 830 AAs, but bought this a while ago. Have maxxed reso defiance. Its great for xp groups in like RS or something where you get an add or something happens, cler dies, whatever and it buys you that little extra time for a backup healer to save you, or for you to finish off the mob to keep group up or whatever. I recently won a GM event, a best of the best warrior type event. We had sets of phantom armor and 2 yaks and had to beat the crap out of each other, 1 on one til there was one person left. In my last fight i was whacking away at some guy, back and forth, used defensive used slam and circling tactics, but was still pretty close. i got him to about 15% and he got like 3 flurries off in a row and knocked me to about 8% . . BAM reso defiance. he says /ooc WTF who the <bleep> healed him?" i said /ooc reso defiance! and so the fight went from 15% vs my 8% to 15% vs 100% . . bought me enough time to finish him off before the dot killed me (only had 4500ish hps w/ that gear on. Won me the GM event, got lots of laughs and "omfgz you schooled him w/ that, awesome idea" stuff from some of the best tanks on my server, and i got a gold ticket and got holgresh beads w/ it so $$$.

ANYWAY, its a great life saver.

Its good on a pvp server, I save it til i am like at 40 percent and fighting a insta killer (SK, Nec, Wiz) and right as I go under 40 I use it if fighting a SK (it usually makes them blow there DT) and I just get healed or zone away, use healing will and epic click and sit and live normally. For necros and Wiz I wait for <Manaburn> or <Lifeburn> in spell awareness and hit it and they burn it also.
I also use it when tanking RSS and that Cheal is a few seconds late or adds ect.
