Gear check/AA advice/level advice needed =)

I used my warrior as an alt in my spare time to play with some of my friends (my druid is my main). He has always been main tank in are little groups but i was the only one who had OoW so we stayed in PoP zones (BoT, PoV, tactics) slowly i made my way up to 68. This wasnt my main so i didnt spend much time worrying about gear but what i had did me just fine for the content we were doing. Recently most of them went to other games and i am finding it is hard for me to find groups for a few reasons.

1) for my level my gear isnt to great

2) For my level my AAs are extremly lacking

3) I like PoP zones and LDoN adventures (my comp doesnt do well in OoW zones heh) but at my lvl it is hard to find groups with people to do them with because of lack of people that want to do them and because reason one and two.

I have seriously been thinking of deleveling to 65 so it will be easier for me to find groups in the content i like doing (BoT and LDoN adventure's). Would it make sence for me to do this? or would it just be smarter to Try to find groups at level 68 no matter how hard it is and slowly build my AAs up to what people my level expect.

So the questions are..

1) would it be wise to delevel to 65 for the ease of finding groups in doing what i like and can and being able to earn a bit more exp per mob doing those things due to my level being closer to the mobs levels.

2) What hp/ac/AAs should i be sitting at to start going into higher levels and OoW zones if i upgrade my comp a bit so i can handle the zones.

I'm far from an authority here at steel warriors forums but I can probably pass you some advice from having a seldom used toy warrior. First, since you buff to 8k pretty easily you can be tank in WoS south part of zone. You can grind out 40 or 50 aa there to finish some defense/hp aa and there are some good drops there that you could upgrade on. I can't see how deleveling would help matters. What you need is drops, and AA. You can get the same drops and AA at 68 as 65. Second, borrow 20-30k from your main, and upgrade whatever you can afford to in bazaar. Particularly finger/ear, and arms need some big time upgrades.

EDIT:

Just noticed you are talking about upgrading before going to OOW. Most the OOW drops are for sale in bazaar, and prices are really dropping. Also if you set your graphics to minimum OOW isnt much different performance wise than other expansions.

WoS is the minimum zone where you'll get real good aaxp in oow. Baseline for WoS seems to be around 8k buffed for south part. 9k 1600 ac is fair for north part where exp is better. 10k 2k ac is pretty comfortable for MPG and some killer exp. For PG you should have all pre OOW defensive aas to make things easier on your healer.

I was in MPG yesterday, I am at 9.6k 1650AC buffed. Got 80% of lvl 67 in there in that sitting. Just need a good healer, and preferably one that knows you. Had the worst Shaman in the game in group also. Shaman says Resist x6, maybe I should malo first huh.

Don't De-level. Look for some upgrdes in the bazaar. Get an elemental bow asap . Your missing out on a bunch of stats without one.

Fingers -- Steel rings or look for omens rings
ear -- another bloodmetal or a Fiercely hooked Claw
Arms -- armguards of repetence ( spelling )
shoulder --- Horn spiked or Strength of elements quest
AC augs from LDoN

And get Area Taunt !!! It's the single best AA I've ever done. It's a class defining AA and it's saved my groupmates countless times
