Where do I adventure?

I just came back from a several-year long break. I bought most, if not all, the VoA Rustic Gear and other bazaar stuff just to get minimum gear. The frustrating thing is that most of my old Type 8 raid augs don't fit in the Type 7 slots in the group gear, but whatever.

My main question is, where should I make groups for? I got invited my a friend of mine to join a smaller family guild that has people around my level, and I think I could piece together groups for things, I just have no idea where to go. I think I have enough AA's to tank some entry-level stuff (tell me if I'm wrong here). The only other advice I've been given is to finish my J5 merc, which I will do this weekend with a higher level friend.

Do people still do groups for gear? If so, is there somewhere, instanced or otherwise, where I can go that will offer potential drops or points for everyone involved?

Also, are there repeatable solo no-kill or easy tasks that I can completed with a Merc that yield exp/tokens of some sort? I know it's a lot to ask, but any help would be appreciated. Thank you friends!

At level 85, I would focus on the Seeds of Destruction expansion. Possibly work on some of the progression tasks there to gain xp and to get your feet wet again. There was much to do in that expansion. The Zam link can be found HERE which shows a complete overview of what the expansion had to offer. Good times.

Thanks for the link, I might see if I can solo some of the lower level ones. While I probably can scrape together a group, if I can molo that would be best at this point. I just need to level up a bit and do some exploring. I'm not looking to raid, mostly just looking to group, get some gear, and meet some nice folks.

Hey man, good to see you back in the saddle. Honestly if you wanted hammer out some exp I would go to Valdeholm and try it there (if you dont have a group) with and without a merc for some aa exp. Start in the Pit (spiders and oozes or whatever they are) then make your way to the furtherest north part of the zones (Royal area) and wreck havoc there. I did 1800 aa's there around your level I think. The aa's should flow well there with your aa bonus at 2200 aa's.

WHen you get groups I would go to Underfoot and hit up some ac aug camps. Most of are still wearing one or two from that expansion then move up to HoT. Do progression as you go so you're able to get to the higher tiered zones and camp those augs or loot them from chest rewards.

Gear in VoA is pretty solid and you can certainly take advantage of it if you push to 90+. The named are brusers so you'll need to get some upgrades on the way.

There is a metric fook ton for you to do so take your time and have fun! OR hurry up and get max, finish VoA and wait for the next expansion.

Thanks Mendler. I was looking at some merchants today and I guess some of the Underfoot Brellium Token guys sell some AC augs. I may try and farm some of them so I'm guaranteed to get some decent augs.

Go to raidloot.com and use Search. Look for group augs in each expansion so you can have a list.
