As you observed earlier, people can assign whatever weights to stats that they choose. Yoda is simply pointing out that you assigning weights so that there's an AC:HP ratio of 1.6 is questionable. Especially given that you also wrote "Ah ya, well AC is still my primary "must have" on an aug."

Using my rules (everybody's might be different):

1. Use http://www.raidloot.com/ and search for AC/HP augs ideally with 35+ AC having needed heroics and try to acquire them.

2. Install those augs.

3. See where that gets me.

4. Look up augs on http://www.raidloot.com/ with the goal of reaching 300+ in hAGI, hDEX, and hSTR while still favoring 35+ AC augs with at least some HP and End, acquire those I don't have, and install augs.

The result atm (I'm not done) is 8617AC 89963HP 327 hAGI, 301 hDEX, 302 hSTR, 277 hSTA


5. Use Magelo to "what if" gear upgrades and adjust augs for what I think is a good outcome.

6. Loot and adjust.

There's a method. It isn't incumbent on Yoda, Fred, nor I to provide a method much less a spreadsheet or application for working this out.

People were simply calling into question the weights you've elected to use and the resultant ranking of some augs. I note that the augs you are using look a whole lot like the augs I'm using despite our getting there via different routes.

True. There are only so many uber augs in the game. I expect us raider types will all have extremely similar gear near the next expansion release (hopefully). Then it only boils down to technique and know how. The stats become meaningless if we all have the same. It's like everyone winning the lotto at once (Lord knows I could use a lotton win right about now :P)

I haven't had the time to sit down and play with the weights again. Too much RL chaos to worry about minor things like that atm-sorry.

My weights:

1ac, 1hstr, 1hsta = 10HP
1hagi = 20HP
1hdex = 25HP

Not perfect but real easy to compare at a glance.

Makes my 'to-get' list all:
30+ ac with ~90 avg HP and 4+ major heroics
or
just under 30ac with 100+hp and 7+ major heroics

Good enough for me.

Got bored, took the idea from here and made a program for it, Doesnt link to the aug itself, or show it(unless you look at the source file) but will do the weight thing for you.

If there is enough need/interest for it, I will expand upon it to have links to the augs and/or where to get them in the program itself.
Also might add functionality to compare with current augs you are wearing(derived from /output inventory) to see where your weakest link it.
