I've decided adding slot limits to the augs is unnecessary, since its individual usage, if you want to cheat and add augs that dont belong to slots, go ahead =). I will however still be looking into adding the ability to "upload" the augs that you do have equipped, directly from EQ

Next update will probably be a while off, since I now need to include class in the search parameters, since i'm running into augs that are very specific. Also toying with the idea of expansion search, but that will take up alot more time unless there is a way i can search just by expansions....

And I mean more than just back to SoF, altho that does help alot since thats when it became important, however I do want this to be useful for older expansions as well, what with the progression ones recently....

hi Desthin,

I just download your parser now and tested it a little. it's great, but one fundamental thing is missing to help people using weights: a cross table of weights

so that you see that with the weight you chose (for example above) you rank 1hstr = 2 hagi ... so it should tilt you that something is wrong with your weights if you are a warrior.

I'm not gonna lie, i barely understand what you wrote right there, but maybe i'm just having a duh moment.

Just for clarification tho, all methods of sorting augs need to be useable by all classes, so I dont hardcode anything to the math functions, the "weights" it just a multiplication of the stats on the augs, which personally I dont like, but I have no replacements for it =/

maybe have class buttons that prefill the weights with some recommended numbers.

sorry, I wasn't clear.


I mean that if someone chose as weights
AC : 20
HP : 1
hDEX : 6
then the AC to HP ratio is 1:20
and the AC tp hDEX ratio is 1:3.33
and the hDEX to HP ratio is 1:6

those ratio would be displayed in the tale above (first row : AC:xxx ratio, second row, HP:xxx ratio, etc...)


it's quite common when someone press button to "fix" some weights that he ends up screwing everything. like for example Kazbar who ended up with a 1:1.67 AC to HP ratio.

This table is a visual indication of those ratio we are used to, and thus can help us to detect faster when we screw up something.

Ohh, yea I like that idea now that I understand it will have to look into that.

Also I like that idea of suggested weights, will also add that to The list

About the suggested weights, I need some examples of what people would actually use for all the classes, since i've only every played my warrior/monk with enough care to nit pick over augs.

there is a user definable spot, the point of the suggested is to have a basic starting place for each of the classes.
