Hastened Fort is the no brainer.
I thought the idea to have raid leader reset timed discs in resting state was a good RLAA Idea. I thought my idea of putting all my extreneous mana into a group pool was a good idea (been asking for this since SOD). Give peeps a reason to xp LAA again. |

When you suggest solutions to issues like Warriors having little group friendly utility and being able to better stop runners would provide some without having value in raids or shields should be made more practical for Warriors/S&B should be the default tanking setup for all heavy plate tanks it shouldn't be too surprising... When you note that Norrath has become extremely large and fast mounts far less common than they should be... In contrast, when one proposes 2Handers and offhand weapons should have the benefits of wielding a shield one should hardly be surprised if a dev or two understands that 2H usefulness for all three heavy plate tanks is it's DPS and not it's aggro or defensive capability and that parry < block. They do consider at least briefly a lot of ideas but it's the sensible, consistent with EQ, do something positive for the game, not impossible to implement ones that see the light of day. Propose a ton of those and it shouldn't be too surprising... that it is not the same as writing "It's like needles come through grapes now, and I refuse to eat 2000 beans to build trust in these crazy cyborgs!" and claiming you came up with the idea for clockwork illusions. Good point Cyrz!!! Specific suggestions are exactly like shotgun suggesting random thoughts (oh wait, they aren't). It's just a coincidence when a specific change appears 2-3 months after someone discusses it. /nod.

Id like to see an AA for all classes, that removes push from their spells and abilities, unless the spell specifically dictates it (ie knockback, HA, etc)

There's a thread about pet tanking on eqlive where I pointed out some advantages I've seen pets have over players. In an effort to remain constructive I figured this would be a better place to break these down:
* stick on a mob despite push, toss-up and knockback effects. Addressed in the wishlist with: Self-root to prevent knockback/fling/push/pull * avoid large AE's while inside melee range. Addressed in the wishlist with: Useful version of Shield Reflect * prevent a mob's AE from firing entirely. Disc suggestion - Upgrade to Throat Jab: 2 tick silence target (level capped) * be completely immune to certain effects. Addressed in the list with: Chance to resist detrimental status effects * tank multiple mobs with direct heals without healer getting agro... ever. AA suggestion - Healer gets reduced chance/agro for heals cast on Warrior Thoughts? |

one can't use shield reflect at the same time as final stand, so a usefull version of shield reflect would be better replaced by a 500k HP spell rune glyph good ideas on the remaining 3 propositions. although for the last one, I would add a second line of whirlwind blade (our AE damage + hate disc) or give us new weapons with AE procs (not war only, not great DPS, not great aggro, but AE procs... could be Trade Skill weapons). |

Not that I play anymore, but I enjoyed the years where warriors did dual wield and the knights were left to using a shield.
Warriors are not Knights, a warrior should be able to use their superior weapon skills to deflect attacks that a knight would not be able to avoid. A warrior should have the best armor there is, a plate set of armor that the gods would envy. Something Rallos himself guided the maker into creating; plate, thin, and lightweight allowing the warriors superior weapon skills not to be diminished. A knight should be walking around in lesser quality plate gear, they should be the ones looking like a trash can with eye slits. Their poor use of weapons makes them walk around in thick bulky armor and a shield, because they do not have the same skills as a warrior. A warrior and knight are tanks, but that should be where the similarity ends. Warriors are different than knights, stop making them knights with yellow mana bars. Bring back DW, bring back high aggro proc weapons. The knight conversion killed the class for a lot of people. VoA has been a mess, I just can't wait to read how the next expansion goes. Good luck guys. Ohh and btw, I would rather look like a baton twirling fool with two swords, than a riot police officer dressed in a garbage can and using the lid as a shield. |
