Spellshield/Mage Hunter - Bug? Weird spell hit

Am I doing this right?

Me: 95 Warrior, Spellshield 39/35
Abilities: Mark of the Mage Hunter 3 was active

Mob: Iglum the Deformed: (Link)
Spell: http://lucy.allakhazam.com/spell.htm...74&source=Live
Damage: 21300 (AE)

Damage expected after spellshield: 13845
Damage expected after spellshield/magehunter: 12345 (lol!)
Actual damage taken: 38538 (wtf!?!?!)

It's one of three mobs that can cast that specific AE. Looking at the posts on Princess Klaknak:

Unbridled Rage is not a 21k AE, it's a 40+k AE...

Princess Klaknak begins to cast a spell. <Unbridled Rage>
You are hit by a staggering force. You have taken 35626 points of damage.

Considering I have max spell shield mod2, that puts the spell effect in the vicinity of 55,000 PBAE damage.
Most definitely not a 21k poke. Fun stuff!

did you notice that drenath with max spell shield and spellrune got hit higher than the other one with just max spellshield ?
lokks to me that the more protection you pile up, the more you take damage...

Looks to me that lucy's data is wrong. The guy who originally posted that Klaknak quote is a druid, so he doesn't have access to Mage Hunter.

Regardless, HoT T3 group nameds are significantly harder than T4.
