Making EQ Movies

OK not sure if anyone can help here, but im looking for info on whats needed to actually make movies of EQ battles and such.

I would check out the guild sites that make their own movies, they may have a FAQ or a message board in which you can ask.

In essence you need 4 things to create an EQ movie:

1. A Display card with Composite or S-Video output (Something which will output what's on your screen in video format).

2. A VCR which matches the output of the video card and/or any necessary adapters to go along with it to enable you to capture the "movie".

3. A Frame Grabber or video input device (Some display cards have this, some don't). For Re-Importing your "movie" into the PC in movie format (i.e. .mov, .qt, .wmv, .avi formats).

4. Movie Editing software such as "Adobie Premier" or it's equivalent. This will allow you to edit the frames of your "movie" as well as adding a soundtrack to it (either music or anything else).

Fraps works nicely.

Then use one of the many conversion tools to convert the big file it makes into a compressed video format.
