pre-epic 1.5 quest order

With the problems with quest order people are having with the 1.5 quest, I'm wondering if it's possible to do the pre-1.5 quest out of order. I'm having trouble catching The Diaku Overseer up concurrently with having a group to kill him with, and would like to get started on the LoY camp, coldain coffee, etc. It would really suck to not be able to loot the item since I haven't killed the overseer yet.

You can kill and loot Shoqui in Hate's Fury and Drevlan (sp?) in Karanas before killing Overseer np.
I doubt you can do the coldain part though, as you have to hand in items from step before...

Cool deal. I'll just work up my brewing and work on camping Shoqui first and then see how it goes from there.
