2hs vs 1hs/1hs

Alrighty folks, heres the deal. I have enough plat to either buy 2 of the tae ew 1hs (12/20 with 50hp and some str) and keep my BaH, or I can buy a tae ew 2hs (34/35 with 100hp) and one tae ew 1h, then get like a club of the oce ocean for offhand. Suggestions anyone?

Gah, everyone's all up on 2handers these days.

Which is fine.

Just remember, unless you're tanking in the planes of power HIGHER end content, you're not really gaining much by using a big slow 2hander.

At level 52, a pair of 12/20s WILL outdamage the 34/35.

At level 52, you're not facing monsters that make ripostes all that much of an issue.

So all you gain in getting the Tae Ew 2hander is TIME. You get it NOW before you'll need it later.

But for DPS, at your level, the dual wield setup gets the edge.

The way I see it is that when in pop i'm not MT'ing anyways, and 12/20's will be great dps for the group, and if I need to, i still have the Halberd to tank with.

... Or I can keep my crafted velium warsword (10/18) and get a tae ew 1hs (12/20) and buy a tae ew 2hs...

Personally, I'd go with crafted velium warsword / tae ew 1hs / and tae ew 2hs. That way, you have a good duel wield combo and a good 2hs, so you can use which works better depending on your situation. And I'd avoid the club of the ice ocean, never been a fan of that thing =p.

Keep the Vel Sword, and buy one Tae 1hs, and the Tae 2hs.
