Is the Stone Etched Mallet a formidable weapon when it comes to tanking in reguards to using other weapons of its range, as in BoC, BF, HG, BoWar, SEWS? I didnt have very long to test it out today, about an hour before the servers came down so looking for someone with experience with one to give me some advice. As in, keep the mallet and get a BF/HG/BoC or go for a SEWS/BoWar.

yes the mallet is fair agro when coupled with another agro weapon, it procs often enough to keep knights/healers/DDers from takin a small peak of agro over you for more then a second or two. When coupled with a BoC the agro seems comparable to BoW agro, though still behind a BoC+BF.

i've looked at some profiles of the top warriors, some of them use sword of primordial power with stone etched mallet. It seems to be a genius move.

People complain how ripostes from POP mobs are too high, hence using 2 28plus delays weapons seems to give warriors best of both worlds --> Dual wield so that warriors still can use their dual wielding skills hence ambidexterity would be still useful and also less ripostes!

the procs don't stack with each other.

You'd be better off with a DD proccing weapon coupled with either of them. Coirnav hammer comes to mind, or the good ol' Bloodfrenzy for pure hate, if tanking.

doubt there would be a chance one would overwrite the other when tanking... cos the mob would lick it up quickly

Aye, they dont own for pure hate, but certainly own in groups and dualing with clerics or shamans.
