rune procs and mez'd mobs

does the taunt generated from the rune procs taunt a mezzed mob ? I've never really tried to find out in game cuz i always taunt/incite a mezzed mob before wakin him him...
Can anyone tell ?

If you already have aggro on the mezzed mob, yes.
