No it doesnt.
Focus effects don't affect procs or click damage
My wizard never got spell damage increases from procs or Velks clicky robe. So i assume since casters dont get the bonuses on item effects, we wont either.

Focus will affect procs, if you are able to natively cast whatever spell it is. Seeing as warriors can't cast spells, the focus is useless to us. Hybrids on the other hand..

it has to be a pc spell
it cant be a click
the focus lvl has to cover the proc lvl, or be mage summoned item.
i cant have dual effects, unless mage summoned item(iffy on this, i have seen i effect and not effect on stuns)
it will make your dammage eratic.
it used to wrok for us. i'll go find out and get back to ya

ID does not effect procs.

NO FOCUS effect work on procs, NONE, NADA.
(i'll bet my money furious bash doesnt either).
There IS a rumor that says that if the proc is a spell that the person has.
(Example: a paladin weapon with proc = paladin nuke).
It will work. Found no real evidence to that.
However :
- Spell casting fury will work on all procs that dont have a DoT component
- Ingenuety will work on all procs that dont have a DoT component

Still wrong Kell.
As a warrior (Smakz), and a wizard (Xith), i have tested spell focus effects on procs and spells.
I still only do 625 damage (Base spell damage conflagration) with my click effect on Vermillion robe of Torrefacation. (click effect lvl 44 wiz spell, at lvl 60). However, the effects still work per normal when normally cast.
Warriors, on the other hand wont get any proc damage added, nor damage from click nukes (rage bracer, vellium ball, and a few others). and regardless, warriors cant cast, so our items would be uneffected anyway, if it were to be true
they dont work with either. it just doesnt affect item clicks.

I would just like to point out that ingenuity is not restricted to DoT (damage over time) procs. If the proc leaves an icon on the mob, ingenuity will not work. Ingenuity will also work on click items that cause damage without leaving an icon.
Whoever said that it enhances your damage IF you can cast the spell which is proccing is correct. My cleric equipped Dawnfire plus ID2 neck slot and it DOES improve damage on the Dawnfire proc, (Expel undead or whatever the Dawnfire procs, nice proc lol) from like 505 to 700 or so (I forget the numbers exactly).
It was enough dd to slap a Silvery belt on that sukker and let em melee the undead ;)

That's because the velk robe is a click, not a proc. Rangers with light woodsman blade get the benefits of ID focus from procs, ask one with to test.

went out with my stormwood batlestaff last night lvl 19 mage spell proc 96 dd, and azure slevees improved damage 1 no effect for me or my monk buddy, but did work for my ranger friend. i had always just gone off my experiance from i affecing procs on my caster hybrids having it affect procs, and thought warriors were the same. sorry if i misslead anyone

Inginuity and Improved Damage type focus are two different things. I'd wager to say if there was an ID type of AA it would work on all procs and clicks, much like AA focus-like abilities extend to spells normally exempt of such bonus. (IE. Spell casting reinforcement AA extending heal over times, when shawl8 effect 20% extend wont)
