I think it means spoiled so badly they have no concept of the "real world." Not sure how it started but definately means spoiled whiner.

I'm Jewish and grew up hearing the phrase but I guess I don't see it as much of a slur. Sadly, I didn't grow up rich so I don't qualify as a Jewish American Princess /sigh
