on monday in potime, innoruuk's fear landed on me through my fearless disc. same thing happened to a ranger that fight. i hope this is a bug, because if fearless only works against plain Fear spells then its useless once you stop killing kunark dragons. the knight's fearless aa, warrior warcry aa, and as best i can tell the archtype fear resistence aa all work against spells in which fear is just a single component, so there should be no problem in making the fearless discipline do the same.
