Well I got a Yeli head that last time we took him out and I was trying to do a good job at keeping my KT faction out of the gutter. I have killed many Dains and Yeli's so I thought I would be close to ally if no already ally.
Well since the /q nerf / fix and faction control I must have recieved the faction hit from the last AoW and KT kill so when I checked my faction verses KT's guards I was KoS.
Does anyone know of an easier way to repair my kael faction then sitting in GD killing dorfs until my head explodes?
Please list other methods than killing Dain and Yeli and turning in Dorf heads. Edit: I would also like to get to nokos with the other 2 factions in kael (Kromrif and whatever ).
Thanks,

Killing dorfs won't do jack for your Tormax faction, and the great majority of coldain kills do little to nothing for your Zek faction either.
The only reason you kill dwarves and turn their heads in (first to the Rif Recruiter and later to Capt Bvelos) is to get enough faction so you can a) walk around Kael pretty much freely, and b) do the zek armor quests. Note that along the way you'll get some positive Tormax hits but, as you put it, your head will have long exploded before Tormax feels like doing anything other than killing you on sight.
The best place I've found to get good Tormax faction is deep in Skyshrine, definitely past the maze and into the tower. Get into three or four clearings of the crusaders and their guards and your Tormax faction will be way up.
Is it easy? I dunno, but it sure is fast compared to the other options.

what about them icepaw bangles? either that or if you can buy some dorf heads.
im not too sure myself of the fastest route per se; but i think either way unless you go whack Dain or Yelinak(?) you're kinda stuck.

What was the /q nerf? If you do this now you still take faction? Please tell me this isn't so as I have been killing goblins til my head is about to explode but still KOS to Chardok and I accidently aggro'd the goblin traitor in Droga. So I /q hoping to avoid the faction hit, first trip through I killed him twice before I recognized the faction hit was reversed. Since then I give him a wide berth. I hope like hell I haven't wasted all those goblin kills on him again.

you /q out right before the mob dies so you don't get the faction hit.
i wonder though when you /q out you're physically still "online" for 30 seconds and can theoretically can still get the faction hit

I /q'd and still took the KT faction hit ( putting me where I am now ) and I know a guildy who /q'd on a dain kill and then was going up to hand in the shawl to spawn dain again and was beat down by his guards thus, she ate the faction hit also.
Something is screwy right now with the /q and the 1018 issues people are having. All I can say is watch out because /q might not keep you from taking faction.

For me it was Western Wastes dragons plus some Skyshrine killing until my Zek was dubious, then dwarves in GD mines for heads (there's probably some people selling them too) but nothing like killing Dain / Yeli for +Tormax hits.

Dain and Yeli are the best hits. Other than that, buy/farm dorf heads. I just did the faction farm thing for both my wizard and my warrior. It took about 100 dorf heads to get good faction, by the time you get ally TMax, the other 2 factions will be ally as well.
Also, once you get ally Zek, you can do armor turn ins to get pretty decent TMax hits. Have someone MQ all those leather boots that are rotting in the bank for the faction.
