This is how I'm going to create her (I think, unless someone else has some advice)

with 25 points to work with I'm going to add 15 to dex to make it 90 and 10 into sta to make it 80. I'm not to worried about str since items take care of it. Any suggestions about creation?

If all you are going to tell me is to not make a DE then please do not post. I am set on making on and just want some advice on creation. Thanks in advance.

Stamina has much more 'impact' in game than dex. Given the itemisation these days though stamina is much less hard to raise than it used to be as opposed to dex. Not really sure where this is headed - i'd probably still favour stamina over dex but initial points distribution will have very minor impact in this day and age - Unless you're raiding and then you might want to consider Charisma :)

What about diety selection? Should I go with Rallos Zek?

I would go with RZ for access to Fierce Heraldic armor, thats pretty good gear, better than the Inny stuff anyway.

I agree with Valeris on the STA issue but really a few points here and there at creation have very little impact later on in the game.

Depends on how high end you plan on getting. If you mean to just have them for fun and to group with friends then definitely go stamina. If you intend to do high end raiding with access to high end loot then go with a different stat that isn't as easy to build. ATM a lot of higher end warriors are using the CHA augs from ldon allot. Could be a suggestion as to a stat to raise /shrug.

If it was me, stam for grouping or split the points between dex and agi if you plan on going to the end game.

Either way, good luck with her!

Thank you all for your advice! My intentions for this character is for roleplaying and enjoyment. That is why I'm going Dark Elf. I love dark elves and they are lots of fun to roleplay (eviiiiilllllll)

I think I will put all the points into stamina, and choose Rallos Zek as diety. I dont plan on going high end with this character but I dont want to rule it out completley. Either way, I think now that going stamina all the way is the best idea.

At one point I considered going halfling or gnome as well but since I couldn't really make up my mind I just fell back to the race I know the best, dark elves. It seems that now race doesn't really matter so I just wanted to play an unusual warrior who was fun to RP.

i'm not in a big raiding guild, but what does Charisma have to do with raids?

either if you go balls out furor-style or end up RPing slaying the light elves of faydwer to appease innoruuk's bloodthirst; Stamina will be your best and most beneficial stat for ya :D

Charisma increases the probability of Divine Intervention (http://eq.crgaming.com/spells/spell.asp?Id=808) fireing when the target is low on health (i.e. the MT in the event the CH rotation gets screwed.

I dunno, Ima DE warrior and for a long time I was disapointed in my noobness following my friends directions, I shoulda put most the points in STA till I hit 55 and up. If your going for high end put it in harder to build skillz like people are saying. But if your playing for fun groups do STA.

I play a Iksar and when i made my warrior. I made him for having fun and PKing all the lights. I was going to twink him and keep him at like lvl 15-20 Because i play on Tallon Zek its 8 for the PK lvl range. When i made him i put all my stats into STR and DEX and i think a lil in AGI. Thinking ok i want to hit harder and not get hit and proc lots. Now i wish i had put my stats into STA and then what i had left in STR or DEX. STA is the one stat you can never get enough of. The CHA i have never herd of. Infact i have herd that CHA makes your taunt ability go down. Im not shure on this so please do not quote me. The DE can be a great warrior as can any race really. Oh and as a iksar warrior i would love nothing more than to find a female Dark Elve warrior to hang out with. I am curently in my 62 season with ND2 combat flurry 1 and STR2 STA2 OH AND RUN 3 !!! Run 3 is the greatest thing ever. I still cant outrun people with sow or better. but i have a better chance of escaping nasty things in dungens.
/ramble off. sorry

Untrue, unless there's something we've reeeally missed over the years.

I think you're right on track.

And no CHA does not have anything to do with taunt.

All points into STA and choose Rallos Zek as your god and you'll be set.

Minor point, but chosing RZ as your diety will make merchants in Neriak like you less than if you choose Inny, and it may (I'm not totally positive on this, though) make you KOS in the Necro / SK guild in 3rd Gate.

Still, people are right, the benefits of going RZ in terms of the Fierce Heraldic stuff outweigh the drawbacks by quite a bit.
