Armor woes

I haven't bought new armor since lvl 20 so I think it's time for some advice. I also wanna work on my Thurgardin and Claws of Veeshan faction and from what I hear the bank area in Kael Drakkel is probably the best spot to do it in. Is it possible to pick up a group in bank area in Kael or will I need to try and convince and few guildmates to come and help me out. My magelo is in the sig.

Kael is most likely BYOG these days, though /shouting "anyone interested in joining a kael group" in PoK / PoT might get you a few bites, just beware that they'll all be there for lewt.

on tarew marr kael arena is very hard to get for raid times. if your bringing pickup if assigned on eq raids most people will let you have.

Kael is still pretty populated on my server. I don't think it would be impossible to get into an arena group/raid. It always has been pretty much bring your own group though for this place. Your best bet is to get some friends together who don't mind spending the time to help just plate classes and do the plate house cycle.

id just go and try and pharm some cash and buy MQ of thurg armour. its rockbottom prices these days on emarr, you can pick up gloves, bracers, arms, helm for not more than a couple k each or even less. imo that will get you equipped faster than the gazilliion kael raids youll need to go on and win randoms before you get all these items/

the BoB bracers and draconic pauldron quest are real easy to do and single groupable so you should def look into those.

also, take a group to UP sometime - you can try and score some moktar armour or an helm or radulkan.

not really sad. people farm mq's like hell here. like SBoZ is like 30k. but vindi is also what some people do alot.

I know that Kael is not all that populated on Povar, and I know that people in my guild farm the hell outta the arena and plate cycle to twink out some of their warrior alts. :D They duo it all... monk and druid.

Thx for the replies. I've been trying to urge my guild in doing more Kael raids for some of us whose faction in Thurg and SS isn't maxxed out yet. They mostly have been on a Chardok or Nadox diet and while that is some fun zones, I think helping some of our members out with faction raising and maybe even armor upgrades would help us out too. Any thoughts on armor upgrades I could use til I can get some Thurg or SS armor?

cobalt arms champs guants and if possible 2 bracer of benevolences... dunno what your guild can do.
