M'neva woulda thought m'would not want ta quit a part time retail job an would be lil upset at havin ta do it.

Yas all know m'no been wurkin.. an m'been working unloadin trucks in mornins. It no is easy wurk! Gotta get up at 4 AM an wurk till 11 AM. Gotta unload truck and stock shelves. Da thing is... is da bestest company in da way dey treat peoples, da peoples demself (neva meet betta group o'folks) an as hard as is.. is fun wurking dere.

So finally got me a contract gig! Yay! Is fer only 3-6 months buh is at company dat be ones me targeted, in a target job function and target location. Tho m'excited bout gettin some recent expierence ta puts on mes resume.. m'kinda saddened bout having ta leave da retail place. M'so hopin dat dey can gimme weekends or night stuff.

Lookin at mes overall goal gettin full time job again, dis is da *best* thin fer me ta do, but still... m'sad ova it. So all yas send good vibes ta mes retail bosses so dey keep me on...

if they care about you truthfully they'll be happy you are trying to better yourself and doing something that you've been pursuing.

From my own retail experience your real friends are going to be happy you're moving on to something better. Just be glad you got the oppertunity to work with them and that you enjoyed it. My last year or so at Best Buy turned into a joy ride of flaming death until I finally had enough. The best thing about retail is the people you meet, the worst thing is all the rest of the people :D

Woot, congratulations on the new opportunity. Sometimes in life you have to move past what is comfortable for new and better opportunities. I realize you have met some very nice people in your current job but I think they will be very happy for you. If you cannot see yourself staying in your current job forever, then I would suggest taking the new opportunity that has presented itself.
