I wish to pl a monk from lvl 52 to around 70 or greater so he can pull for my regular group. What do you think is the best route? I have a 80 war, ranger, shaman to my disposal to help. Do you think the best route is to kill reds solo while shaman heals / slows to below 50% of the mob, then finish with warrior? I think thats the best route, but not sure.

Also, if that is the best route, then when would be the best tiem to have him group with my toons to get xp? I thought I read somewhre that pling doesn't really work with a lvl 80 toon unless the mobs are LB to hte lvl 80 toon, or else it isn't worth it...any ideas?

Just group them at 53, I think its 53 is the first lvl they start getting exp, and blow away the hotzone of which fits that lvl range.

can get exp at 53 grouped with 80s but no aa exp. cant recall when you do start to get them.

almost.
The PL'd can get AAXP too if he can get regular XP of the mob being killed isn't grey to the PL'er.
Though i fail to see the reason for doing AAs that early, especially if you PL.
I level mine to 63/64 and then do AAXP in BoT (ungrouped but with PL-help in most cases or, lately, in a regular XP group for that level) or someplace similar.

Put monk in group with warrior, and go kill mobs in Valor until you reach lvl 60 , should take a couple of hours, use shaman for heals outside the group

Took me like 30 minutes to go from 53 to a touch under 60 in Nadox (used lesson on PLee) grouped w/ my Beastlord (anguishish level dps)...so, very efficient up to that point speed-wise.
