Ive been thinking of coming back to play. I quit when Gates of Discord came out, and I know there are alot of things that have been added since then. But my biggest concern is I only have a level 55 mage thats pretty much naked and a 51 Warrior thats semi twinked for what was out right when gates came out. Would it even be worth coming back. I really want to but im worried that there wont be anyone to group with or play with at my level. If anyone could offer any info or suggestions I would appreciate it.

Give it a try. I think you can activate for 21 days for free or something? If you want to take a look at the new expanions without buying them go to the test server and make a testbuff to run around on....just don't train me :p.

On the nameless server there are few groups for level 30 - 65. Once you get past 65 things start to speed up. If you want to just play once in awhile i would say its not worth the money. With the nerfed MM's it is kinda hard to get up in levels.

Hmmmm, how bout you start on the new Progression Server man!!!!! You'll prlly love it since everyone will be in there 20-40's on average once it is out a few months, and you'll have a sense of adventure again in old world. It's where i would be in a second if i hadnt invested so much into my char now. It would be a twinkers worst nightmare though.

Sure thing. Come on back and try it. EQ is much better than even 2 years ago when I started. You'll have some catching up to do, but on the horizon is a new 1-75 progression content expansion and it shouldn't take you long to catch up in AAs and levels if you have time to put the efort into it with MMs and the newer experience zones. (Which is much less time than it used to be and in less demanding chunks.)
