Yo, i am Ghohan L`Crit former officer of Legacy of Hate of Druzzil Ro . Lev 70 Dark Elf Warlord with 502 AA. Over the last 5 and a half years i have been coming to this site picking some of u guys tactics n strategies an decisions on AA n weapons n gear i figured was time i stoped peeking in an be a voice i am not in a raid guild ... i despise OTM or log althought i realize it is required for end game mobs i play my Tank every night alongside him he has his faithful sidekick Ghorez ( lev 70 cleric with 498 aa ) at time i 3 and 4 box the other 2 chars are just tools to me to enable me to kill named mobs without having to /random 100 ill figure out magelo here in next few days bu tatm i am 9840 2102 unbuffed non elemental with not 1 item ( including my 1.5 ) comeing from a guilds assistance i take pride in being self sufficient and not dependign on others for upgrades i was a paratrooper in 82nd abn div for 4 years in RL so my language has gotten me a few enemies as i let people know right off bat when they try n KS me or train me that there ass is mine and i make it my mission to kill them .... yet i am alwasy willing to help the helpless or the ones who cannot fend fo rthemselves such as the 56 shaman who was spaming pok for 3 days to get someone to help him an his lowbie guildmates retrive there corpses in pofear .... after dying 6 times on my warrior i was able to clear ZI with just tank /clr n start dragging corpses to rez them his guild had abotu 14 corpses an once i had them rezed n made sure they gated i honorably turned down the 4k that they had pooled to pay for help ..... for every thousand peeps who hate me .... 100 love me :cool: .. sorry so long here just wanted to say hi n tell u a lil something about me n my ideas on playing yet to me this is not a game it is my life however messed up that is its what i got .

lol i guess thats why i havent posted here in the 6 years i been playing EQ , i really dont give a fuck about grammer or paragraphs or how i spell or if it hurts ur eyes thanks for the rude ass comments this seems more like a collegiate spelling B english class than a bunch of tanks getting together n tellin war stories i guess RL tanks are different than bunch Legs who wanna be a tank. :cool:

It isn't about perfect english, its about readable english. You didn't use any punctuation to break up your thoughts. Consider the help you will get if you can't take the time to hit <enter> or leave a period now and again.

The reason your formatting is a problem is because most people read by reconition. Most people don't read every letter of every word, they scan your text and reconize patterns that they use to read the full sentence. If you run sentences together and don't use any breaks in your text, it will be hard for them to read and slow down thier ability to gather the information that your presented them. By not being considerate of this, you are essentially saying that your time is more valuable than the reader's time.

We aren't grammer whores, but you do need to make an attempt at readability if you want help or to participate here at TSW. Effective communication is all about protcol. Its a dance we all have to do everyday.

Your name is capitolized, but "i" is not? I don't really care whether you do so or not, but that does seem to be a strange behavior. My guess is that you've been typing this way for a long time and you are just too lazy to change, not that you don't know how to capitolize properly. What escapes me more though is that you've somehow made it through 6 years of EQ and no one has ever said anything about it.

I was in the Marines and even us jarheads have to have better grammer than you display here in this post.

I got a discussion on this subject with a friend past summer. I would bother you with this lengthy conversation, but I will try instead to make you understand why you should post here, and above all why you should use the better english that you can write.

Well, there is lots of people here, and actually less than one hundred are regular posters. If you want to keep your voice closed, and prefer only to lurk here and there gathering some info that you could or could not use in EQ or elsewhere, fine but you won't get the same feeling as if you jin those that are regular posters. From your first post I would have think you truly wanted to join us and not stay this anonymous user. You tried to let us now more about you so that we could identify you amoung the rest of the 10k registered people of TSW. So I think you should take it too rought about the hard comments you got back from your personnal post and that you should keep posting here.

I didn't read completly your first post but just pick up some words here and there to get a global feeling about you. And if you want to know why I did that, that's preatty simple: as you can see, I am in France, it's because I am French. English is my third langage (even if I lost so much from my second langage that I berely want to say that I should have known it). I learned english at shool, where the only form of english you would ever meet is the "Standford English" so that you will never learn any slang or whatever as common street langages/expression. So reading posts from here is sometime very challenging for me (as a reference, the first post of Azlana I met, I though it wasn't english at all but just a random keypress generation). So the conclusion is that If you want to ease my work of reading your questions and/or advices, so basically if you think that I could matter, then you should pay a little more attention to your expression.


All in all, all what I have explained can be generalised to most of the person here. And if you understand that a forum is meant to exchange idees, then a dialog have to be set, so efforts from both sides must to carry out to make it possible. If you don't want to improve yourself to give more impact to your posts, then of course you can flee the debat or think that you are above those futile rules and get banned like ZsGohan were. In both solutions you would enlight your lack of capacity to adapt to a new environement and to progress, rather than if you show your effort at posting here with a langage bettering little by little you would prove us that you are a meaningfull and willfull person whose consideration has to be taken into account.

Well i never really thought about these things u guys have mentioned while i been playing eq. I regulary 2 and 3 box and when i go to hunt n require a FD puller , cuase placate wont work then i 4 box . By playing like this i cant communicate to my friends who send tells or guild who ask questions or channles that i am entered upon, useing proper grammer. So basicaly as u have noticed i am prolly the slopiest typer n grammer user ever to play eq.

Man i barely made it past high school the Army was my way out of where i was living. I dont even really know when to start a paragraph or end one . When i started EQ i had no idea how to type, i still use just 2 fingers to type, and while i am in game i run words together n misspell constantly and never use any periods or commas.

I never run from anything , so i will try n do this . I came here posting cuase i am in a point in the game where i am at a standstill as far progression an have been just kinda blah . I lost my shaman 's acount about 1 month ago ( no im not original owner) so i cant just report to soe and fill out proper forms n get PW retrival. Loseing my shaman hurt really bad it effected me more than i realized i would feel over a " char " .

The guild i am in now is a family type , tradeskilling , get ur 3rd alt epic 1.0 type of guild . They have no desire to progress in EQ but it is my girlfriends RL friends mainly so i joined it to just kinda to have a home . Cuase being solo for long periods of time n playing 8 hours a night with me as 3 or 4 chars in a gorup of 3 to 5 , well u get to point where talking to your other chars is all u got .

I apologize for taking ur criticsism wrong n saying i dont give a fuck , cause i really do give a fuck . I take pride in being a Warrior on Druzzil Ro . I take pride in being able to do with 4 guys that im playing myself , what it may take 2 groups or even full raids of midlevel guilds , to kill. I am not " uber " or pretend to be i can duo Vindi with my warrior n cleric combo , but i suppose so can alot of you . That is why im here because you guys can do crazy stuff too .

I read once here somewhere , i forget who it was . But they mentioned wanting to duo Ntov with there pally friend . That is why im here , because its things like that , that rock my world n make the game fun .

Anyway ill cut this off . Lol is not too often i have someone to talk to so maby is why post are so long . I will not flee from this criticsism of my grammer n puntuation . But damn it sure is hard as hell and takes forever to write. Much ezier to use my old style of writing , but i guess times change an we have to change with it or be left behind .

Thanks for not blowing me off or acusing me of beign some lil teenager who is on his dads account , just because i didnt spell right or use proper puntuation, hell im 38 and its hard to teach an old dog new tricks .

Sounds like you'll fit in nicely here. Samdeathwalker is a notable boxer here, so is BerekAB, among many others. I've dabbled with it myself, but I suck ass.

My first suggestion would be getting together a magelo profile, so others will know where you are coming from when you speak. Its not so much an e-penis thing as much is it lets readers know what level of progression you are at so they can discuss things with you.
